Bazaari: Sellers Policy
You acknowledge and agree that by registering for or using the Seller Portal and/or the Bazaari Marketplace, you, as a Seller, expressly agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, as may be updated and amended by Bazaari Marketplace from time to time at its sole discretion (“Agreement”). Any amendments to this Agreement shall become elective and binding on the Seller as soon as the amendments have been published to the Seller Portal and/or the Bazaari Site (as applicable). This Agreement contains the terms and conditions that govern the Seller’s access to, and use of, the Marketplace and is an agreement between the Seller and Bazaari Marketplace.
You are responsible to manage your own store & update stock regularly
What can you sell?
The marketplace supports independent designers and brands handmade or manufactured product. Products sold on Bazaari should fall under the following categories:
Categories are subject to change at any time. Please note that you are responsible for managing your store and updating stocks on the system
What can’t you sell?
We do not accept products that don’t fall under our categories. We may expand our category range in the future depending on our seller’s needs.
- No counterfeit products
- No illegal products
- No products that don’t fall under our categories
We reserve the right to reject any products that don’t meet our guidelines.
We have two options for fees
Pay as you go – In this option, you will not be charged with a monthly subscription fee. If you choose this package, you will be charged with a 20% selling fee for each of your sales. Sellers pay these fees only when they make a sale. The 20% goes towards a commission for the marketplace
Membership – In this option, you will be charged with a monthly subscription fee of EGP 250. If you choose this package, you will only be charged with a 10% selling fee for each of your sales. Sellers pay these fees only when they make a sale. The 10% goes towards a commission for the marketplace.
Sellers get paid after they make a sale through Bazaari Marketplace. The payout is processed bi-weekly or end of every month depending on amount in your bank account. Sellers can make a payout request to the marketplace. The marketplace has to make sure that the product was fulfilled and shipped to the buyer by updating this information (Shipping Airway bill # on the order page).
How do I receive orders from buyers?
Sellers will receive notifications on their sellers’ dashboards and emails provided in sellers settings. It is the seller’s responsibility to accept or reject the order, prepare the order before Bazaari arranges to fulfill the order and ship the product to the buyer’s address provided in the order page.
Any orders or communication made outside our platform is not our responsibility. Please make sure all your communication stays within the marketplace for both buyer and seller protection.
How do I ship?
It is Bazaari’s responsibility to determine and include the best shipping method and rate that suits the seller’s products. A courier company name and an airway bill number should be included on the order page and update status to make sure the buyer is aware of the tracking.
Our community was built to support all talented people who want to be part of a successful and thriving marketplace. Please refrain from using negative and hate reviews or threats to our buyers or sellers. We have the right to block anyone onboard who goes against our behavior policies.
Use of seller content
Seller agrees that Bazaari may permit users of the Bazaari App to share and post content on their own social media outlets.
Photography of products should be clear and of good resolution. Sellers are expected to add different images and close-ups of their products.
